Life is hard enough for female professors. Your 'chili pepper' rating of our 'hotness' is obnoxious and utterly irrelevant to our teaching.
Please remove it because #TimesUP

Like organization, availability, our TAs, approachability, prep for higher education tests like LSATs, GREs or MCATs.

I can also write about seeing my father's hotness rated on his @ratemyprofessor profile... gross.
No matter the stage of our careers, smiley faces, stickers, and trinket trophies still motivate/entertain us :)

Oh, to be so young and naive. (Read the responses to Dr McL’s tweet from other professors if you don’t understand why objectification of female instructors by students is harmful to their careers.)

I 100% support what you're saying about the pepper rating, but why these childish responses? You're protesting a superficial hotness score for professors, and then turn around and dismiss a dissenting opinion based on her number of followers?
You could have ignored the comment or engaged in discussion as @DebMerriam did. Instead, you chose to belittle her.
It's not really a Twitter lesson, it's more a "how to not be an ass" lesson
And while we're at it, let's drop it for male professors as well. Hotness (or not) should not be why people take my classes.
