Complete lack of knowledge among so many of us. They didn't know who Putin was until Trump introduced him, new kid on the block.I fear ignorance is going to be our main failure in the not too distant future, opening our doors to known crooks, saying "He seems like a nice guy."

I read some right wing message boards occasionally and the Putin crush goes back further than Trump's political life. It goes back to at least when Russia enacted their anti gay legislation. With that he became a hero and a "real leader" to the people who now enable Trump.
