  1. The fight to defend democracy in North Carolina is just getting started. I hope you’ll stand with me in that fight. Until we have the facts, until every vote is counted, until justice is served, we’ve got work to do.

  2. The right to vote is the foundation of our democracy. It’s a right that countless Americans have fought and died for, here and overseas. But every step of the way, Harris treats our sacred right to vote as an inconvenience, just an obstacle between him and a seat of power.

  4. As Harris tries to pull the wool over our eyes, his allies (who have known about the fraud since Pittenger told them in May) are refusing to participate in the board’s hearing and then saying Harris should be seated because the investigation has stalled. ()

  5. And, he’s now going to court to try to get seated! () That’s not how we do things in America.

  6. Harris pretends to assist the investigation, but, make no mistake, he’s obstructing. He’s refused to release 100,000 documents requested by the elections board that may be relevant.

  7. Just as disturbing, Harris won’t take a shred of responsibility for what he’s done. In the Marine Corps, we learned that accountability goes to the top. That’s what we deserve in Washington, too. But Harris doesn’t see it that way.

  8. According to dozens of reports and affidavits, Harris’ campaign stole people’s votes, manipulated their ballots or may have even thrown them out. You would think someone in his shoes would apologize. That’s the character we expect in America. But, amazingly, he has yet to do so.

  9. In light of Mark Harris’ press event today, let’s remember that Harris is under investigation for unprecedented election fraud perpetrated by his campaign, spearheaded by a man he handpicked and paid to produce votes. He is not the victim here, the voters are. (Thread)

  11. 2018 was a year when we fought to move our country forward and defend against those who want to hold us back. This was never a one-year struggle. It’s a struggle that’s more important than ever. Hey 2019, let’s get to work!

  12. A year and a half ago, we launched our campaign with a service project in . We built this campaign on the belief that our leaders should serve the people, not their own interests. That message has never been more important than now.

  18. When I campaigned with , who marched at Selma in 1965, he told me our right to vote is “precious, almost sacred.” Down the road from where we campaigned, it turns out people were still having their votes taken away. As long as that’s true, we have to keep fighting.

  20. I got into this race because I believe that we deserve better from our leaders in Washington. The events of the past few weeks doesn’t change that. If anything, it makes that mission more important than ever.
