There is no view, however radical, that someone is willing to articulate and defend in the proper currency of intellectual discourse--reasons, evidence, arguments--from which I feel any need to "shield" my students. Let them hear the arguments and counterarguments--and *think*.

I am not sure I know of an institution that has given CRT a "monopoly"... Can you cite one?

Nothing! In opposing ideologies like critical race theory, we must also guard against the type of dogma that would have us ban it, thereby cutting off the dissemination of ideas in a similar way to those who we oppose.

In terms of a liberal arts education, absolutely nothing is wrong with that. The problem is that the members of the 'cult' view the tenets of CRT as a-priori truths and won't hear of any other views being put forward as plausible.

A theory must go through significant rigor before it can be accepted. If you want to counter CRT, you must do so with the same rigor to argue your points.
