Those who are very conservative favor Trump over DeSantis, 54% to 38%, while those who are just somewhat conservative back DeSantis over Trump, 59% to 29%. Moderate GOP primary voters overwhelmingly favor DeSantis, although they're not the ones who dominate the primary process.
