I realize it would be difficult for Mitt Romney to leave the GOP, but I continue to be disappointed that he goes along with the party. Perhaps that is why his niece was made chair, but I hate to see anyone compromise their principles for Trump & his lies/corruption.

All I see when someone says Mitt Romney is that pic of him dining with Trump when he wanted SoS job - he was liberal when in MA then conservative when he ran for President - he has no personal beliefs that he won’t sell for a few votes
-
He wasn't really a liberal in MA. He said he listened to what voters wanted & they wanted healthcare insurance for all so he did it. He did it well.
-
He was more liberal than when he ran for president - I didn’t mean “liberal” like I am - just that he was a centerist - you have to be in MA - if the MA Romney ran for president he might have won but the Utah Romney ran
-
The far right pushed him to be what they wanted & it didn't work. I disdain the far right; they're destroying the country & playing into Putin's hands on two issues--abortion & gay marriage. Putin doesn't really care about those things, he's just playing them as fools.
