"Listen to Native voices," I was angrily told by leftists who listened to exactly one Native voice, an academic in Alberta, before deciding how to feel about Warren. Turns out Native voices aren't monolithic & also don't suspiciously align with the GOP's racist attacks on Warren.https://twitter.com/jbendery/status/1081189135166115840 …

A whole lot of you showed your asses on this one. btw, another widely cited (including in NYT) Native voice against Warren makes regular appearances on Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham. You're being spun.pic.twitter.com/p17JoArfxl

There are many Native voices rightfully calling out Warren. Do more research, dont erase Native people from discourse because it is inconvenient.

There are more Native peoples interviewed for this piece than has ever been for any outlet. This is the opposite of erasing Native voices. You may not agree with Native voices in this article but don’t erase them either. We need more articles like this w/a diversity of NA voices

Im specifically criticizing David's framing/presentation of this article. David says people "listened to exactly one Native voice." This is false. And it is erasing the voices of Native folks who have legitimate concerns with Warren.
