    I gave the impression that I was lumping all conservative men into the same ball-less category. My apologies. Those guys are a subclass unto themselves. I still honor men & will continue to fight for masculinity. I’ll be gone for a time finishing my book. I will never give up.

    I’ve always rallied to defend men. But now I see men defending another man who has committed the same “crime” as I have yet I’m thrown to the side. It’s a boys club. I’ve never been a feminist, but this is bullshit You conservative men have lost an advocate today

    Even though I hate the term, this is where patriarchy comes into play. Pure sexism. was lambasted and fired for defending her husband against another man but yet other men come to . C’mon men. We can do better for conservative women.

    I want to remind people that my husband who was called a wife abuser by hundreds of people over a joke about beer & basketball is not a public figure. I am. All attacks should be directed at me. If your spouse is also a public figure, these kinds of conflicts should be expected.

    Watched it real time, saw it the way you described. He started it, you responded to the attack. He attacked your relationship, you responded in kind (just more effectively). You apologized I have not seen one from him, but to be fair I have not watched closely.

    Oh yes he did. He was egging it on. If you followed the whole interchange, you’d see it for what it was. You can’t just look at the single tweet in responded to. What else does he “oh Denise” mean In the context of other tweets about abuse? It was obvious.

    I apologized to both Shapiro and Domenech for my angry tweet, but I also explained that I did it because my husband had been attacked. I tried to give the context. It didn’t matter. I apologized directly to Yashar for my harsh words.

    Were you given a chance to apologize before they sacked you? Had you been warned before? Feel free not to answer. I probably wouldn't. I just think context matters a lot in these things. People do dumb stuff.

    We have become too comfortable in our society calling men abusive when they’re not. Women do it in divorce court, girls do it on college campuses, employees do it to employers to get ahead. We need to stop slandering men. Yet our society looks the other way and even applauds it.

    I don’t think that’s going to happen. It hurts, to be honest. It obviously bothers me. I’d be lying if I said it didn’t. But I have to let it go and be at peace. I have other things to focus on. God has plans for me and I trust him to show me the way. :)
