A winter storm will affect the area through the AM w/ light rain and snow in western NV. A break between storms occurs in the PM. A strong storm is then expected to bring heavy Sierra snow, strong winds, and a mixture of heavy wet snow and low-elevation flooding concerns Mon-Tue.

A warming center will also open by the at 6 pm at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center, Halls 1, 2, and 3. Not a full shelter but will change if needed The ROW and are offering discounted rooms for those without power
