Although I hate it because of the disruptive effects it has on our elderly, babies, those suffering from PTSD and our pets, it is the law to allow fireworks until 1 am tomorrow morning.
After that, please, for all of us.... Cut it out in #Savannah

Enjoy your New Year's celebration WITHOUT your gun!
Beyond it being just plain dumb, it is very dangerous. Every year someone is injured or killed or property damage because of celebratory gunfire.
What goes up eventually comes down. If we catch you, you will face charges.

says LOST is not meant to be a competition.
He says Chatham County generates 20% of taxes and that they should not be entitled to 31% of the money.
The county met with municipalities yesterday and city mayors say the county walked away from a deal.

Thank you for standing up for the people! I am so sick of politicians using us and lying! We have lost many cities like Baltimore. Savanah needs you! Please keep working to for us and avoiding our cities getting worse. Watching Baltimore fall was horrible. Sending hugs thank you!

Because the 27% represents lost revenue that has to be made up. I have proposed 23, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31, 31, 31, 31, 31 which is fairer to both of us.

What about meeting the county half way? Start at 27% and 1% raise until it reaches 31%

Have you called your Commissioner?

Why can’t the rest of the commissioners call a special meeting and motion to vote on agreeing with the municipalities? All they need is a second. Force the commissioner's hand.

Regardless of what we think - State laws says they don’t have to - along with other educational, religious and non-profit institutions.
