Seattle had a historic election with currently 87.89% of ballots processed. In this historic election, Washingtonians understand that it may take a few days to count all votes. Every vote matters & every vote will be counted across the country despite the President's threats.

Happy 1-year birthday, Health One! Launched in November of 2019, this program helps to address non-emergency 911 calls to help people with requests for issues like substance abuse, non-emergent medical issues and a need to access services. 🔥 *Photo taken pre-COVID

Today, the US has officially withdrawn from the Paris Climate Agreement. The lack of federal leadership on this issues has been appalling. I’m proud that Seattle and other leading cities are still committed to addressing climate change.

We know that many elections take time to count accurately, especially with millions of mail-in ballots. No one – including the President – can claim victory and ignore millions of votes that are still being legally counted.
