    With 82% of Seattle residents having started their vaccination process & after administering 260k shots & 800k tests, we are transitioning our testing sites to after 7/31. Remember to , get tested, and get vaccinated

    WA state will follow current CDC guidance and I am asking Washingtonians statewide to consider wearing a mask in public indoor settings in areas of substantial or high transmission. This is a recommendation, not a requirement.

    Seattle led the nation in COVID-19 response because we listened to the experts and got vaccinated as soon as we were eligible. With the rise of the more dangerous variants, let’s get back to basics: wear a mask in indoor public places – even if you’re fully vaccinated.

    I want to say a huge thank you to the hundreds of workers who helped stand up and operate the Lumen Field vaccination site. Together we vaccinated over 100,000 in a matter of months. Thank you for your role in protecting the health of our community.
