    Get tested as soon as you notice any signs of , even if you've been vaccinated you could still spread to others who aren't protected. FREE testing is still available at Aurora, SODO, Rainier Beach, and West Seattle hubs.

    Our unsheltered neighbors are experiencing a crisis which requires true collaboration, Seattle cannot solve homelessness alone. Through 's & the City’s 1300 homes, we are to moving our most vulnerable neighbors toward permanent housing

    The new data shows that between February and June 2021, at least 94% of cases, deaths, and hospitalizations in individuals 12 years or older from WA state occurred in individuals who were not fully vaccinated. Details in our news release:

    Warmer temperatures are headed to Seattle! Stay hydrated, check on friends and neighbors without air conditioning, and remember to never leave pets or kids in the car. Cool off ❄️ with a cool book 📚 at one of the air-conditioned libraries! List of locations below.

    Temperatures will be in the mid 80s to mid 90s Thursday through Saturday across the area. Make sure to stay hydrated through the week with the warm, dry weather!

    WA state will follow current CDC guidance and I am asking Washingtonians statewide to consider wearing a mask in public indoor settings in areas of substantial or high transmission. This is a recommendation, not a requirement.

    More warm weather is in our forecast. 🥵 Find additional ways to beat the heat and stay safe. 👉 Though the air temperature is warm, rivers, lakes and other bodies of water remain cold. Get safety tips. 👉

    Warmer weather on the way Thursday through Saturday, with Friday likely the warmest of the week. This will NOT be nearly has hot as our extreme heat last month, but can still be dangerous for those sensitive to heat so review how to stay safe this week!

    Seattle led the nation in COVID-19 response because we listened to the experts and got vaccinated as soon as we were eligible. With the rise of the more dangerous variants, let’s get back to basics: wear a mask in indoor public places – even if you’re fully vaccinated.

    I want to say a huge thank you to the hundreds of workers who helped stand up and operate the Lumen Field vaccination site. Together we vaccinated over 100,000 in a matter of months. Thank you for your role in protecting the health of our community.
