I have directed @ChiefQuinlan to complete a thorough review of how chemical spray agents are deployed by @ColumbusPolice and to immediately stop the use of tear gas and pepper spray to disperse non-aggressive, non-violent crowds.

How about when your corrupt police force decides to label them non-peaceful regardless of the reality of the situation?

The problem is that in every use of these crowd control techniques. The police labeled the groups as violent... Instead of focusing on tear gas, let's focus on accountability of the police.

So the use of these could still happen if the cops decide for themselves that the protest is ‘not-peaceful’. They aren’t good at policing themselves in this city, why isn’t it a flat out ban? You need to resign.

Who determines peacefulness? Will police maintain stores of tear gas and/or pepper spray as part of their arsenals? Will there be a similar review of "less lethal" tactics incl but not limited to rubber, metal-core rubber coated, foam, wood and/or beanbag projectiles?
