    Lots of enthusiastic students, dancing teachers+a few teary eyed K parents at the start of in person schooling today - 1st day of school for Pre-K - 2nd grade students, 6th + 9th graders.Thanx to staff who have worked so hard to get buildings and protocols ready!

    We are also examining other ways to 1) improve the flow of testing at Salem High (the change to using the automotive center has impacted the traffic queuing line) + 2) increase testing options in Salem. Pre-reg is helpful, but not required +does not enable you to jump the line :)

    Congratulations to the SRA for leading a redevelopment process that was professional, meticulous, and transparent. I'm excited to see these important buildings brought back to life along with more housing opportunities right next to the T. It's been 10+ yrs in the making!
