I'm calling this a conspiracy theory because it assumes an intent in someone's actions, that cannot even be reasonably be verified or falsified. All you are doing is disseminating fear, uncertainty and doubt to dunk on someone whose opinions you don't like. That's just shitty.

I guess I understand where this might come from - so many people in our community are afraid, and speaking about topics in a way that *could be interpreted* as support of anti-trans positions feels absolutely threatening. But we won't move forward by narrowing our discussions.

I absolutely want us to talk about detransitioners. About the complexities of figuring out if and what kind of medical transition is right for you. About how pronoun rounds that *only* happen when someone is clocked as trans are problematic etc. But some folks don't want that.

Some folks just wanna be *safe* in times of increased scrutiny and attacks on the trans community. And so for them, questioning the collaborative narrative can feel very bad and threatening. But please keep in mind: this is exactly what transmisic assholes intend us to do.

Of course, criticism is a good thing. But there is a difference between saying "Hey Kat, your take is bad and reads like you support medical gatekeeping, is that actually your position?" and screaming "omg Kat Blaque is truscum!" Terrorizing other trans folks isn't the way.
