Go ahead and make fun of block chain. :-) It's cool to do now. But I'm old enough to remember people making fun of "cloud", and then "containers". Heck, when I started my career, you'd get laughed at for saying Linux in the same sentence as AIX, Solaris, Novell, and Windows NT.

Your examples of 'others' differ in that they were and are --- useful.

Keep it up. Linux was "just a toy". Cloud was "just someone else's computer". Containers were "just bad virtualization". It took time for them to reach their potential. And time for doubters to understand it's place.

I wish we could understand blockchain's place so we didn't have a bunch of terrible ideas made into investments by attaching blockchain to it.
