That's odd, does this happen across devices? Also, try clearing your browser's cache and cookies. If you need a how-to, this guide has the exact steps: https://goo.gl/dwzcyo . Let us know if this works.

As far as I know it happens only on pc however it is not a bug or something going wrong, it's a critique that you have allowed an advert so long through your data.

While some ads cannot be skipped, you can adjust the type of ads you see by editing these settings: https://goo.gl/ZB1qVL . Hope this helps clarify.

thats not the point im trying to raise here, its not the type of ads that I see thats the problem, its the length of the adds that I have a problem with. I dont mind unskippable 10s adds but I do have a problem with adds (skippable or not) that are 2 or 3* longer than the video

That's odd! Please send a feedback report directly from YouTube with these steps: https://goo.gl/WdI0BK . While every individual report may not get a direct response, we do review everything and use the details to investigate and fix issues. Thanks.

sent feeback... I would just prefer it that we (as content creators) can whitelist/blacklist certain advertisers, but also for you to actually manually aprove every advert that goes on your site as ther have been stupid excuses for adverts I have seen

including several people literally just putting every single video on their channel as an advert, even lets players having their video as an advert. thats just stupid
