Consumers will always control an economy, not producers. The more interventionist cronyism in Canada tries to stifle that process, the worse our economy performs for consumers and producers alike. Subsidies, tariffs, bail outs and special privileges for lobbyists must stop.

Mass immigration coupled with multiculturalism is eroding our social fabric. Big business will have to find other ways to deal with manpower shortages besides debasing citizenship.

With all the layoffs in the auto & oil sectors, I don’t think importing more people who need jobs is a solution. Corporations know if the demand for work rises they will have to pay their employees less. Supply & demand applies to the work force too.https://www.bnnbloomberg.ca/laid-off-albertans-still-struggling-as-oil-patch-braces-for-job-losses-1.1200115 …

Honestly this gov't has twisted itself in so many different directions It's hard to tell whether they're serious or just grossly incompetent. If they're not pandering to minorities they're pandering to big corporations. Identity politics is a path that leads to nowhere.

The road to hell was paved with good intentions.
-
That doesn’t explain the Liberal mess. They never had good intentions from the start. Trudeau only wanted power, and his party, other than a select few, think he’s God’s gift to the world. They blindly back him in EVERYTHING.

The 250,000 you say you'll allow is still mass immigration.

I'd argue it is up to businesses to adapt to the needs of consumers at large. Not for consumers to transform to fulfill the needs of businesses.

A third of the Canadian population is retiring. We need a tax base. Immigration is the only way to do it.
-
Maxime is talking about "mass" immigration NOT immigration. Throwing people around without study to let gov't collect more taxes or big dealers to make more profit will ended up creating class of forgotten families and millennials. LPC party have lost trust, CPC party is next
-
We need more immigration...we cannot sustain our economy without it.
-
"Balanced" immigration NOT more immigration. No real economic mind have being in office to create strong economy, all politicians are lazy relying on mass immigration to maintain economy. True solutions? Max is likely to have them with his economic philosophy of free market.

Haha you heard it here folks, economics from the medical school drop out...
-
I was forced to stop my medical education in Libya due to civil war of 2011. Now, I'm studying Information technology, politics and self-educated in economy. I'm "Jack of all trades, master of none". Appeal to common sense! List of economists with no education in economics:pic.twitter.com/O8MU0G7ELc
