There's a difference between being intrinsically insensitive and completely ignoring any feedback on you being an asshole numerous times. He's made people uncomfortable on many occasions and doesn't seem to care

And he doesn't have to! It's your problem if you're uncomfortable. Go and be comfortable somewhere else. Nobody forces you to work or interact with Stallman.
