The media is letting Trump and the Republican Party off the hook for their decade-long support of Putin. I see almost no articles about it and not even references to it in general articles about the war.
There's no accountability.

Trump's first impeachment was over withholding arms to Ukraine. Russia tried to influence the US election for Trump. A week ago, Trump called Putin "a genius".
And yet the media has decided to "let bygones be bygones" apparently. Craziness.

Russia attacked Ukraine. We can, and should, help. Part of stopping Putin means keeping his previous supporters out of power.
