For all those wondering, this is not fair use. Fair use requires the content to be a criticism, satire or parody OF the material being used. Not just adding the content in the background. It's the equivalent of streaming a copyrighted movie while talking about a different topic.

The recording was of poor quality and it distracted the original purpose of the song. Fair use is not always parody.

3.) If I did something like that, I'd probably not get copyright claimed because I am part of the community. This is flat out discrimination. He took down the video deliberately because Jon did something Pepper didn't like.

If you did the exact same as Jon, would pepper issue a strike regardless whether or not that you’re a furry? While i didn’t see the content prior to being striked. Just something im curious about as a what if.
