Due respect, but that is not exactly what he said. He said for small pox unvaccinated, they must be isolated. For Covid, we need to establish a convention and convince people they must isolate themselves.

This makes sense unless you think they're overestimating the danger of covid. If a disease is bad enough this just has to be done if you have an unvaccinated segment of the population.
