A self-described "former Rolling Stone fact-checker" called me (what else?) a "conspiracy theorist." But when challenged, this was the best she could do.

Plenty of people, including reporters who were on the ground during conflict and violence have already laid out why you’re wrong to smear the White Helmets, why would I waste my time?

She thinks anecdotal hearsay is a solid basis for a factual generalization about a national situation and a narrative about a war that has lasted almost a decade -- totally amazing that she once had a job as a fact-checker.
