Agreed. They're obviously trying to set a trap. And their questions are based upon assumptions which frame their agenda. Corporate America trying to tear apart anti-interventionist stances under the guise of patriotism.

They basically ask if Assad's "not an enemy nor an adversary, what is he?" Apparently, they are trying to paint her into a corner with the dualistic mindset of "you're either with the US or against the US", which leaves no room for neutrality among other countries.

Actually that was the true aim of the US, to topple Assad, but they can't say it overtly because that would mean confessing the US armed, financed, aligned with terror groups for the ultimate agenda. I am happy Syria has survived this onslaught. Stay vigilant people of Syria.
