Well, to be fair their system is already similar to a ranked choice system. But still an instant-runoff ranked choice system where people quickly register their preferences is better than a caucus system where the lack of a secret ballot makes result susceptible to peer pressure

A coding issue??? So you literally didn't test this app out? Christ, my son's junior high STEM class triple checks their work in production before going live for a grade

I have worked as a software developer for > 20 years and this is absolutely incredible. Any bugs in reporting should have been found and fixed with basic testing. And how did they not have a sound back up plan? Like reverting to manual counting processs that worked b4?

I’m a risk advisor and internal control specialist and am just as gobsmacked as you are. There is absolutely no excuse for this.
