The word racist as well as far right and fascist is thrown around nowadays as a general catch all term for anyone who’s politically slightly to the right of Corbyn’s Labour Party.

Exactly the term "racist" is so over and inaccurately used it no longer has much of an impact. Indeed the behaviour of those who over use the term often creates the very racism they pretend to hate. It's like crying wolf.
