    Yes! gives us enough meteorology to educate us, without being too geeky. He is not afraid to show how much he loves talking about the weather either. I'm glad we get to visit the roof top with him.

  7. Some cirrus and a bit of thin smoke in the upper atmosphere are making for a very colorful sunset. Not sure how I ended up with a job that pays me yammer about the thing I love to the best city in the county and enjoy sunsets with a view like this (look at the Blue Ridge!)

  12. Hurricane is moving over much cooler waters, but it's holding its own quite well. Extratropical transition isn't complete, so it's still retaining tropical characteristics. It'll lash the Avalon Peninsula of Newfoundland tonight with gusts to 85 mph.
