Ask anyone who has lost their hair to chemo, or suffers from Alopecia how important hair is to self-esteem and well-being. This school has issues this policy change has exposed.

Hair isn't just an expression of one's self. It embodies the three "C"s--culture, confidence, & comfort. Hair has meaning to us all. It doesn't need to be policed. Let it be long, short, curly, straight, Afro, locs, braids, pigtails, shaved, blue, green, blonde...JUST LET IT BE.
