    Star Wars h8er here but imagine your first exposure to Yoda being the POS war criminal brainwasher from the prequels instead of the funny lil guy in the originals. Seeing Yoda's past has way more impact when you only knew him as a Muppet

    This is correct and thats because nothing is ever created in a vacuum and subsequent entries in a franchise are always commenting and building on existing material. Its why the prequel trilogy has less meaning without the original trilogy

    "which order should I play/watch--" release order. it's always release order. let me stop you right there. it's the order they came out in
