I find paper/chapter a daunting task - sat there constantly editing, feeling like I'm getting nowhere. Great advice below. For me - 1st draft is bullet-points, the 2nd/3rd builds paragraphs/structure, and the final (w/ supervisor(s)) fills gaps and cuts waffle

A new study from PhD student shows that earthquake hazard changes with the seasons, and frozen ground layers in winter increase earthquake impact!

One of the best things about conferences? Catching up with old coursemates! Of course, it's impossible for everyone to smile at once... Congrats on a well-run meeting, , it was great!

In this article we take a look at the effect of crustal rheology (; Maxwell, SLS) on observed deformation time series, depending on whether a deforming magma reservoir is modelled with a pressure or a volume-change mechanism.
