Wow that was one hell of a read and soo interesting! History used to be a lot more Noncey than now. Nobody ever mentions it but the late queen met her husband to be at 13… in the 30’s.

I get the sense that even this little wave of pro-pedophile activism in the '60s was a kind of extinction burst. Child marriage was common into the late 19th century. The turning point seems to have come in the '40s-'50s as the concept of the "teenager" become entrenched.
