I believe there is a problem with police brutality. I do not believe that the facts or the stats or any of the evidence supports the claim of an epidemic of racist police hunting and killing black men.

The worst police shooting in recent history, by far, was Daniel Shaver. He was gunned down while on his knees begging for his life. It’s all on video. Never heard of him? That’s because he was a white man.

If it seems like black men are the only ones getting killed by police, that’s because the media doesn’t cover any of the other killings and nobody protests them either. But look at the statistics some time. The facts are clear.

I know this isn’t a popular thing to point out, especially now, but that’s all the more reason to say it. So I say it again: there is no evidence that most of these police killings are racially motivated. And many many many white people have also been killed by cops.

This year 42 whites were killed by police, 31 blacks were killed by police. Last year 370 whites were killed by police vs 235 blacks.
