Lots of scams going around targeting people around me (maybe AI making this even easier?). Regardless, I am not texting you asking for money or to do business. My number starts with “925” and you can feel free to ask me to prove it’s really me whenever we talk.

After months of going back and forth, it appears Musk is finally planning to step down as CEO of Twitter, claiming his replacement will start work in 6 weeks. Here’s what we know so far, click here: l8r.it/ozL0

I want to hire and work with freelance journalists, comics, and other non-traditional writers who want to learn a bit about original reporting. Failing is OK as long as it's entertaining. So, wanna investigate something? Pitch me on why it would be interesting: matt@outvoice.com

I'm going to fund and edit it myself, and look to launch in 30-45 days. All of our pieces will be paid + promoted by Hard Times and Hard Drive. FFO vibes like "Don't Fuck With Cats" "Tickled" This article sfgate.com/travel/article or this one: noise.thehardtimes.net/2019/06/08/rem

I'm moving forward with an experimental writing project: non-satirical long form investigations into topics normally covered by Hard Times and Hard Drive. Original reporting. No hot takes. No timely hooks. No SEO. Just deeply interesting stories that take readers on a journey.

I’d like to predict a future cultural controversy. Soon AI agents will begin reaching out to people to collect quotes and information for articles and/or to complete polls and surveys. Responding to them will be controversial. Some will campaign to feed them misinformation.

If you own a store like this how do you decide whether or not to buy another green roll of fabric? Do you know how many you have? Or is it just pure vibes? Buy any fabric any color under a certain price?

How do you decide to buy a sparkly green unique pattern roll you might have for 20 years? What does it cost? How much to store it? How did the producer decide to make such a unique pattern? Do you ever give up in a roll? I have a million questions

Fascinated by the inventory management of small business owners in LA’s fashion district. Stores are floor to ceiling rolls of fabric of extreme variety with some very niche. I asked owner and he says depending on popularity he can have the same roll in his store for 20 years (!)

I believe community-based businesses will become more valuable in the future. Community is one of the few things AI will have a hard time replacing.

We’ll likely never know the dollar figure, but I think the next few days will be huge boon for twitter scammers. Every celebrity will lose a blue check. Every scammer will have one. It’ll take the user base a little while to adjust. In meantime, crazy scamming potential.

Another thing: publications in someone’s voice. A famous podcaster could launch a news pub where he has trusted writers cover news and then his AI voice reads it in short briefings that go out multiple times a day. Basically 24/7 joe Rogan powered by others.

Every broken up band or dead artist will soon be able to release new material written in their style and with their voice. Cross generational collabs. Bieber and Elvis will a new song that’s a top 100 hit in couple years. Weird to think about!
