  It’s like someone took Chuck into a room, a la Howard Beale and Arthur Jensen in Network, and gave him a variant of Jensen’s “you have meddled with the primal forces of nature” speech. Now Chuck’s glued to that hymnal like his life depended on it. (Didn’t work out well for Beale)
