  2. In an agreed statement of facts, Deidra Smith and Justin Robichaud were hit over the head and died of blunt force trauma. Their bodies were taken to Haliburton Highlands, were they were dumped and burned.

    The search continues for a man in his 20s from Toronto by Marine Unit after he and a woman in her 20s entered the water in the Niagara Gorge. The woman was found by a Whirlpool Jet Boat and brought to shore, but was pronounced dead.

    The Premier says he can't give a ballpark estimate of what this will cost. Minister McLeod says they can't share a breakdown of how much province and city will contribute. Infrastructure Ontario says it will be completed between 2027-2030.

    The minimum 21 days since Step 3 began is August 5th, so we could reopen as soon as Aug 6 but Dr Moore says it could take a few more days to reach the 80% 1st dose, 75% 2nd dose benchmark required for full reopening.
