It’s almost as if we ask too much from them. Maybe if we narrow the scope of the responsibilities they would be better served.

About to get worse. War on police will reduce recruits and increase departures. Their strategy is to defund police by default.

They already defunded their police.

Don’t be so sure it’s from lack of funding. Unemployment has been incredibly low and they may have run out of authoritarians who want the job.

Could be because these crimes don’t pay the bills. They spend their time issuing motorists tickets and looking for anything attached to court fees. This department needs an overhaul, they really are as bad as stated.
