      I do NOT know if these comments from Lam were what prompted his resignation. I only spoke to Justice Spigelman briefly and he did not elaborate on his reasons, beyond the brief comment above 4/

          The Australian Constitution does not prevent dual citizens from sitting as High Court judges. What's more, foreign judges play an important role in deciding constitutional cases in the appellate courts of a range of countries.
