He keeps trying to make this argument even though I proved it by sharing a Periscope of Cernovich posting from that account. He's just being disingenuous, he knows it was his account.

Cernovich is one of the worst people in the spotlight by far and clearly he doesn't give two shits about James Gunn's tweets in actuality, but don't you think that Disney probably reacted to Gunn's tweets as an isolated thing from Cernovich?

Disney doesn't have a moral compass lol. The outraged people made the decision for them. And the outrage was fake.

i keep seeing dumbass posts like "he was fired for his outspokenness against Trump!" like yeah that's why he was targeted by Cernovich but ultimately he was fired for the shitty things he said, and Disney's worry that it would affect them negatively

I think he's (Gunn) on record as having apologized fairly extensively when these tweets came to light several years ago and has clearly changed who he is in the intervening years.
