Spurs' medical staff sent Vertonghen back out on to play moments before he exited the pitch, vomited and collapsed. This despite the referee asking them to check for concussion. The culture of patching head-injured players up and sending them on is irresponsible. #TOTAJX

I don’t know whether they can introduce sort of like a free sub/replacement without using one of the 3 subs, if it’s a head injury. But then again I could see that being mis used and becoming tactical.
