4. Also re: dinner with Kai-Li Peng, I was actually having dinner with Jackie Chan (long story) & he brought Kai-Li Peng with him! I pestered her with questions about Edward Yang & her work with him. She was gracious & lovely & then we went to a movie together. Movies, man.

Did you learn anything about her education and taste as a pianist? Damn, I would have loved to ask her a few questions. I imagine she must be a superb interpreter of the late Brahms piano music.
