2 + 2 = 2 x 2. As a child, Roger Penrose was delighted to discover another example: 3 + 1.5 = 3 x 1.5. Other examples?

@stevenstrogatz a + b = ab => 1/a + 1/b = 1 => 1/a = t, 1/b = 1 - t => a = 1/t, b = 1/(1 - t) for all t different from 1, 0.
