(2/n) This book is absolutely fantastic and especially fantastic in the sections about complex numbers that we are studying right now. I'm glad we have extra time (and no pressure at all) to work through these sections. Chapter 8 on the geometry of complex numbers is +
(3/n) + quite possibly the most amazing chapter in any k-12 math book that I've seen. When I first bought the books 7 or 8 years ago I wrote to Richard to thank him for writing that chapter.
May I recommend this, then? https://amzn.to/3b7ml7L It's gorgeous. Of course it leads up to the inevitable geometric punchline, which is that the Riemann sphere is the projectivized light cone in 4-d Minkowski spacetime (although it never makes this point fully explicit.)
