I'm hearing from some conservatives that @RonanFarrow has lost credibility with them b/c of Kavanaugh.
Setting that aside - his Weinstein reporting is beyond repute, and @NBCNews had the capability to take that man off the streets a year sooner. What happened?

Sorry, non-native English speaker here. Did you mean "beyond reproach" when you wrote "beyond repute"? Or is "beyond repute" also a legit idiom? I understand "repute" as something positive (unless preceded by "ill"), so "beyond repute" does not make sense to me in your sentence.

I think you are correct. Perhaps you might say “beyond repudiation” or “above reproach” so perhaps she has mixed the two? What is your native language if you don’t mind sharing?

Another possibility is "beyond dispute," and I'm personally inclined to bet that this is what the author intended. But it is at any rate quite clear that "beyond repute" is an inattentive error.
