I'm diverting Mrs. T by reading to her in the ICU. We've just started in on "The Mating Season," my favorite of P.G. Wodehouse's novels about Bertie and Jeeves. I've never read Wodehouse out loud—it's great fun!
Note: RIGHT HO, JEEVES is free online (on Gutenberg), and it's Kazuo Ishiguro's favorite, which is certainly saying something. For my money, though, it's JOY IN THE MORNING that gets away with the biscuit (with almost insolent ease.) "Well, everyone loves a good fire, of course."
