Isaac Newton was a brilliant jerk. I'm glad he existed.

It is a gross understatement to describe Newton as a brilliant jerk, though. He was far more than brilliant, and far worse than a jerk. And I am not only glad he existed; I regard his existence as possibly the most significant ever enjoyed by a human being on this planet.
