Fucking tired of the claim that we didn’t have anything to vote for in 2016—or that it was a choice btw evils. The last 2 years have proven otherwise, and I’m pretty sure the next 40 will as well. We can do better next time. But our children will pay for this false equivalency.

The challenge confronting the would-be survivor is to judge early and accurately whether an unrecoverable behavior has been initiated -- and, above all, to acknowledge that such behaviors exist. Humility is called for here, and rational detachment. That which is lost, is lost.
