Let's start with Sega Saturn, launched in May 1995. Madden NFL 97 was the best-selling game on the system, with fan favorites Nights and Panzer Dragoon also cracking the top 10.

Sony PlayStation, has a pretty fascinating list. The scale of success both Crash Bandicoot and Gran Turismo achieved is still remarkable. Metal Gear Solid also established its foundation for long term success here.
