US NPD ACCESSORIES - Spending on video game accessories declined 18% in August when compared to a year ago, to $138 million. Drops in gamepad and headset spending drove the shortfall. Year-to-date video game accessory spending is down 14% compared to 2021, at $1.4 billion.

Sensor Tower US Mobile - Again the decline is led by Google Play's user base, where spending was down 22% year-over-year. That's compared to just 1.2% on Apple's App Store, where per-device spending is generally much higher than on Google's platform.

US NPD HW - Video game hardware dollar sales grew 14% when compared to a year ago, to $375 million, helped by improved supply of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles. Year-to-date hardware spending declined by 4% to $2.9 billion.
