Do you think Twitter's going to make it? This was troublesome to read today. We put so much time and work into making this page what it is today.

Twitter has had a massive drop in revenue, due to activist groups pressuring advertisers, even though nothing has changed with content moderation and we did everything we could to appease the activists. Extremely messed up! They’re trying to destroy free speech in America.

Yes, he will conform. Things will be different, but if he wants to make money he is going to have to give in to certain things he didn’t like. He is in over his head though

His rationale for the 8.00 fee is that it will make it impossibly expensive to run bots on the platform. So that could be a good thing, but then the helpful bots might go away and some people's following could drop dramatically. For better or worse.
