The safest place if one has to be invested in stocks is the S&P because international investors are dumping Chinese stocks and putting that money in the U.S.

I rarely disagree with your theses, but in this case, I would say the DOW here in the US is the safest investment vehicle where Chinese and foreign capital is going to land, not the S&P500. Minor difference, but believe to be true.
